I had an account with Yahoo small business hosting but it seemed aimed at the new website builder or new webmaster. Some of the flexibility and options were not available.

Yahoo small biz hosting started out Offering $1.99 domain names for new customers. But the re rEg fee is $35!!!!

The hosting was very simplified and somewhat limited.

Good for newbs.

I would not say Yahoo is in the hosting business. I think they just have a product very similar to a basic web hosting package they have packaged as hosting. but lots of hosting packages that cost the same elsewhere offer more.

I met some people who had used Yahoo small business and a cart for their business. they spent a fortune and had very bad results. I would say look elsewhere like Bluehost for enterprise web development.

Yahoo small business is a takeover form when homestead was the site builder. but yahoo wants its customers to form stores and vend wares.
